‘Maquilapolis’ kicks off month of Latino shows
September is a great month to to set your TiVo or VCR to catch television programs about Latino topics and issues.

KAET Channel 8 celebrates Hispanic heritage with six programs that salute Latino arts, entertainment and culture. A partial line-up:
Sept. 17, 5 p.m.: "The Republic of Baseball: The Dominican Giants of the American Game." No baseball fan can forget Felipe Alou or Manny Mota.
Sept. 22, 11 p.m.: "Los Lonely Boys: Live at the Fillmore". These west Texas musicians (Heaven) sizzle through Grammy winning songs.
Sept. 26 & 27, 10:30 p.m.: "The Bronze Screen". A look at the untold contributions of Latinos to the Hollywood film industry.
