Quepasa.com, an online community for Latino users, says it will air the bilingual soap opera Alamo Heights on its Web site. Alamo Heights, produced by El Mundo Entertainment, follows two wealthy Hispanic families – one in San Antonio, Texas, and one in Monterrey, Mexico – who are linked through their lingerie and apparel empire.

Over the course of 16 weeks, Quepasa.com will air 80, 7-minute episodes of the soap opera’s first season. "Streaming video is the fasting growing entertainment product on the Internet," said Robert B. Stearns, chairman and chief executive of Scottsdale-based Quepasa Corp.

In addition, the company announced Michael Matte has joined its board of directors. Matte most recently served as chief financial officer of Cyberguard Corp.
