Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) recently announced the promotion of Maribel Barrios to Community and Multicultural Relations Manager in its Community Relations Department. Before joining BCBSAZ in 2006, Barrios served as senior account manager for Arvizu Advertising and Promotions where she handled Hispanic marketing responsibilities for a key account. She is a founding member of the University of Arizona’s Greater Phoenix Hispanic Alumni Association and Hispanic Rotary Club. Barrios also volunteers time as a mentor and serves on the auxiliary board of Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. For more info, visit www.azblue.com.
