MAC Creates Success

Mesa Arts Center welcomed more than 265,000 visitors in it's 1st year

The Mesa Arts Center welcomed more than 265,000 visitors during its first full year of operation, with total revenues of $4.4 million. MAC affiliate groups and renters realized an additional $2.6 million in ticket sales, bringing the total impact of the center to $7 million. Civic leaders say the center, located at 1 E. Main St. in downtown Mesa, is fulfilling its vision as a community center, economic development engine and home for local arts programs.
