3 Darn Good Reasons Governor Janet Napolitano needs to go to Washington

 

1. A progressive leader who is experienced at dusting conservative Republicans. Just ask Matt Salmon, Len Munsil and the Republican majority of state legislators she routinely outsmarts.

 

2.  Pro-education at a time when the U.S. is losing it’s education edge over competitive countries. Evidenced by her engineering of state funding for all-day kindergarten and increased funding for higher education, as well as her education initiative as chairman of the National Governors Association.

 

3. She would be seen as a “fresh” face with vision, voice and wisdom in the nation’s Capitol.
 
 
3 Darn Good Reasons Governor Janet Napolitano needs to stay in Arizona

 

1. Republican Secretary of State Jan Brewer would step up to the governor’s office.

 

2. There’s already a matronly Democrat Napolitano in D.C. Representative Grace Napolitano, a Latina from Congressional District 38 in California, and a leader of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

 

3. Just in case you forgot, Republican Secretary of State Jan Brewer would step up to the governor’s office
