Israel G. Torres, managing partner of Torres Consulting & Law Group, LLC, was awarded the Hispanic Leadership Institute’s Daniel R. Ortega, Jr. Public Service Award. Torres was recognized for his roles as a municipal and state appointed official, and his volunteerism for numerous non-profit and business associations. Torres served on Gov. Janet Napolitano’s cabinet from 2003 to 2006, and as the director of the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
