Finance professionals meet in Phoenix

The Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting will attract more than 2,500 attendees to its annual convention Aug. 10-14 in Phoenix. The theme for this year’s convention is The Rising Leadership of Latinos, and will be held at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort. Deloitte & Touche USA LLP is the lead sponsor and will provide a $10,000 scholarship with its Deloitte Latina of the Year award. There are both working professionals and student tracks and workshops. There also is a luncheon and workshops for ALPFA’s Latina Leaders.
