Former TV reporter Mary Kim Titla’s is singing Daddy Yankee’s tune. Her campaign is running out of gas…de veras.
The Native American, Democrat candidate for Arizona’s Congressional District 1 sent out an email blast asking for 1,000 little $20 contributions. “I’m almost out of gas, literally,” wrote Titla, whose campaign manager is Randy Camacho.
She’s been driving about 4,000 miles a month stumping in the sprawling district. She expects to double or triple that mileage before the Sept. 2 primary.
