Show reveals global influences
The Arizona Museum for Youth in Mesa currently presents a chance to see masks from a 35-year span of creativity by the prolific Zarco Guerrero, master mask maker.
Faces of Art: The Masks of Zarco Guerrero exhibits influences from global cultures, including African, Japanese, Mexican and Balinese. Mask-making activities and art stops enable children and adults to draw and design their own masks.
The museum, 35 N. Robson, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for everyone one year and older. For information, visit www.arizonamuseumforyouth.com or call (480) 644-2468.
