Oaxaca has a reputation for being one of the most colorful cities in Mexico, but couple that standing with a celebration of Dia de Los Muertos and you’ve got an unforgettable trip.
Travelers can explore Oaxaca, visit archaeological ruins or take private tours of art and cultural museums during a 10-day tour that includes a Day of the Dead festival: three days of parades, street markets, fireworks and candlelight processions.
Participants will also see Baroque architecture among the city’s monuments, churches and convents. Visitors will stay at a first-class, four-star colonial-style hotel.
The tour is presented by Arizona Trails Travel in conjunction with Travel Adventures Into Art.
Tours are limited to 28 participants; early booking is encouraged. Price per person ($1,795) is based on double occupancy. Lodging, ground transportation, guide service, 19 meals, entrance fees, docent lectures and sightseeing is included. Airfare is additional.
