A family-friendly medical kit created locally aims to make first-aid easy for all ages.

The Me4Kidz Medibag first-aid kit is colorful and includes the usual accoutrements, like bandages and antibiotic ointment, along with a quick-action first-aid flip chart, eye wash and CD that shows parehow to safety proof the home.

Invented by Cave Creek residents Richelle and Pete Nassos, the Medibag has received numerous accolades, including the Hot Product 2006 Award from iParenting and Preemie Magazine’s 2006 "Cool Stuff" award. Its user-friendly design encourages parents to open the kit instead of shoving it into a cabinet, where it would be forgotten.
